Hey hey! Second book haul! I wanted to call this a September book haul, but I didn't buy all these in September, and I don't buy books monthly... So here's a small book haul...
The first book that I got this month is Let It Snow, by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. The funny story about this book is that I originally promised myself that I would never buy this edition, because it's... ugly. And the smaller one so it wouldn't fit correctly in my shelf. However, I went into the store with a friend and couldn't leave empty-handed, so I went for the cheapest book I could find and this edition is a lot cheaper.
The second and third books that I bought were actually for school. The first one being If On A Winter's Night A Traveler, by Italo Calvino, that I have to read for World Literature class, and La Vérité Sur L'Affaire Harry Québert, by Joel Dicker (translation), for Littérature Contemporaine, my French class. The first one has the prettiest cover I've ever seen and I really am excited to start reading it. As for the French book, it scares me, because 1) it's a BEAST and 2) it's a mystery novel, and I hate mystery novels... We'll see how that goes.
Finally, I bought two books for my own pleasure. One that I've been wanting to read since the beginning of the summer, Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda! Everyone I know loved this book and it kills me to not be able to read it yet. The other book I got is one that I've read and adored but never owned, and it is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I'm guessing most people read this and loved it, so there's not much to say!
Thank you for reading! Tell me if there's any book here that you've liked!
