If you're like me, and find yourself in love with fictional characters...then you will 100% understand the feelings I have throughout this blog post. Here are my top 5 fictional boyfriends!
5) Ponyboy, from The Outsiders (S.E. Hinton)
I read this book over 3 years ago, so I don't remember why or how I fell in love with him, but I definitely know that throughout the book, I kept liking his character more and more. For a few months after finishing the book, I was looking for his personality in other guys... Awkward...
4) Frank, from Since You've Been Gone (Morgan Matson)
There will be a lot of characters from contemporaries in this blog post, mainly because that is the genre I read the most of, and because I find it so much easier to fall in love with a "normal" character who doesn't have any powers... Frank from Since You've Been Gone was such a sweetheart, and the fact that he was really smart was definitely a plus. He was altogether so nice to Emily and such a nice character, it was hard not to fall in love with him.
3) Percy, from the Percy Jackson Series (Rick Riordan)
This is a newly read series, but I absolutely fell in love with the books and Percy himself. Although I like to think that I have a type in real life (the funny cocky guy who dresses like Harry Styles), in books, I always go for the cute, clumsy sweetheart for some reason. Percy's character development played a big role in my falling in love with him, and you know what, if I can't have him, only Annabeth can. #Percabeth #Otp
2) Étienne and Cricket, from Anna And The French Kiss and Lola And The Boy Next Door (Stephanie Perkins)
I cheated. I had to choose these two. I love them both for very different reasons. If you've read these books, which you should have, you know how perfect St-Clair is and there's no way you don't fall in love with him. He's so caring, and cute, and funny, and nice... As for Cricket, he's that other "awkward" but funny type I love, living in the shadow of his sister. But he was so nice to Lola and such a smart person that asdhfuadsl. I love them both so much.
1) Draco, from the Harry Potter series (J.K. Rowling)
If you know me, you know how important HP is to my life and how much I've loved this series. These books have been there for me through tough times, and rereading them always cheered me up. Draco, mostly in the 3rd - 6th books, was my favourite. Here you can see my type. The bad boy who isn't that bad type. I grew up with him in a way, and have always loved him since the first time I've read these books, so choosing another top 1 fictional boyfriend would've been impossible.
Here you have it, my fictional boyfriends! Comment yours, I'm so curious!
