Hi everybody! Today's blog post is all about my fall 2015 TBR. Now that summer's coming to an end, and that the weather is cooling down, I definitely know that fall is coming. I'm honestly pretty excited for hot chocolate and sweaters tbh, I'm really done with the hot weather...
1. The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak
This is a book that has been on my TBR for months, but I wasn't in the mood to read it during the summer time, because I like my contemporaries during the hot weather. However, I'm really excited to read this one, because I love historical fiction.
2. Throne Of Glass, by Sarah J. Maas
Okay, I know that I said that this book series wasn't interesting to me, but now that summer came to an end, I've been getting into this kind of mood where I want to read about a badass female protagonist, and this book is going to give me that.
3. Love And Other Foreign Words, by Erin McCahan
I literally just said that summer was my time for Y.A. contemporaries, but this book has been staying on my TBR shelf for a while and I really want to know what this is about. Plus, I haven't heard much about this book, so I want to dive in completely ignorant.
4. To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee
I really need to read another classic soon, and this is one that have been on my TBR as well. I want to know what the hype was about, and also, if I want to read Go Set A Watchman.
5. The Host, by Stephenie Meyer
I bought this book at the thrift store ages ago, because it was cheap. And then I realized that it was a Stephenie Meyer book, so I was like oh, ew. And then I learned that many MANY people LOVED this book and say that this is SO MUCH better than Twilight, so I really want to read and see for myself.
6. Reading Lolita In Tehran, by Azar Nafisi
I have never read a memoir before, and I heard a booktuber talk about this one in such great ways that it made me want to pick this up (I found it at the thrift store!!). It's a collection of memoirs of Iranian women reading books that are banned where they live, for example, Lolita, The Great Gatsby, and Jane Austen books.
Those were 6 main books that are on my fall TBR list. There are much more, but these 6 are definitely ones that I feel the need to finally read!
Thanks for reading,
