Hey! It's fall time, and I just saw one of my favourite booktubers (PeruseProject) do this tag, so I thought I would do it as well. It sounds so fun! I love tags, in case you haven't noticed...
1) Crunching leaves : a book that has reds/oranges/yellows on the cover
I wanted to choose Crown Of Midnight, because let's face it: that cover is gorgeously fall-ish. But, I'm gonna go with this edition of Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks that I own! You should follow my bookstagram, just saying.
2) Cozy sweater : what book gives you the warm fuzzies?
This is a new read, but Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Not only does my favourite part in the book take place at Christmas, the love story is just ... so ... CUTE!
3) Fall storm : favourite book or genre to read on a stormy day
I have two favourite books for this. The first one would be Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, because it's my favourite Harry Potter book and the dementors set the mood quite well. The other one would be Looking For Alaska, simply because that book isn't a cheesy contemporary, and I love to read contemporaries in general.
4) Cool crisp air : a character you'd trade places with
Either Simon Snow from Carry On because I'm in love with Baz, or Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson book because I'm in love with Percy.
5) Coat, scarves and mitten : a book you have to keep hidden in public
Breathe, by Abbi Glines. Look at the cover here. It's horribly hideous, although the book itself was actually enjoyable. I wouldn't be caught dead with that cover in public.
6) Pumpkin spice : favourite fall comfort foods
Oh boy. I like anything. Except Starbucks... Don't kill me! I just find it overpriced and not even that good. For drinks, I love the French Vanillas from Tim Hortons (wouhou Canada!). For foods, any type of hot and creamy food, like mashed potatoes or vegetarian "chicken" pie or shepard's pie. Or fries honestly. (icydn : I'm a pescatarian!)
Thanks for reading my Fall Time Cozy Time tag! I love tag posts because they're simple and fun to make, and I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed answering these questions!
